About Us
Kathryn Christensen (Kate), CNM, WHNP-BC, Owner
Kate is a double board certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She entered the healthcare world in 2017 as a Registered Nurse and completed her Master of Science in Women's Health and Midwifery at Georgetown University in 2020. She has cared for thousands of women and their growing families in the hospital, birth center, and home settings.
Kate has a special interest in reproductive endocrinology and has continued to expand her training in functional hormone health. She is in her happy place when she is helping clients to understand how hormones impact health and wellness through all stages of life. She also loves supporting women as they navigate pregnancy and prepare for birth.
Kate’s philosophy of care is built on the idea that women are intuitive and bodies are designed to be in balance. She believes in identifying the root cause of concerns, individualizing care and optimizing wellness from within. She is a champion for autonomy and strives to help each client feel empowered as they take charge of their health.
One of the biggest failures of modern healthcare systems is that they often leave women feeling dismissed. When someone says “I don’t feel quite right”, I strongly believe that is something to listen to and look into.
